Growing up in Bangalore, Karnataka Maya found her love for acting at a young age.
Maya is an Indian film actress, model, and a trained Bharatanatyam dancer who completed her junior and senior levels and has appeared predominantly in kannada films. Maya also received her Diploma in Film Acting (DFA). She made her debut on screen as a child artist with the kannada film Rambha Rajyadalli Rowdy and she has also worked in Jenu Gudu. Her mother Rudrani is well known producer, she is also related to Manjula who was one of the leading actresses in Kannada films.
Maya has acted in Antharaya in 2013 and she received a good applause for her acting. She has appeared in the commercial advertisements and has an experience in anchoring the shows and as a dubbing artist as well.
Maya is acting in Adamya, Kannada - language film directed by K. Anbu Aras. The film is produced by K. Shankar under their respective banner of Raj Films. The film features Mava and Venkatesh in the lead roles
